As someone normally without issues requiring physio, I was referred to Michael Phillips Physiotherapy by my parents after I injured/torqued my lower back leaving me feeling debilitated. As Michael was booked, I got in to see Sheila instead. What a fantastic experience! I should mention that everything hurt prior to, from walking, to opening doors, to sitting, to lying down. I didn’t know anything about Sheila or her “zero balancing” niche, but after a quick assessment, she identified what was wrong, knew exactly what to do and proceeded to align my body, using finger pressure and gentle traction on areas of tension in my bones, joints and soft tissue. She also performed some cranial-sacral manipulations. Incredibly I could feel my body relax and reorganize and when I left the office a half hour later, I felt almost completely back to normal, with the exception of the achiness from the strain of having had the injury. By the next day, this was largely gone too. Thanks so much Sheila!

Zero Balancing is an innovative body-mind system of hands-on therapy developed in the 1970s by Fritz Smith, MD, a pioneer in the field of integrative medicine.
